Where Services are Offered

CenStar Energy supplies electricity and natural gas to customers in:

  • New Jersey
  • New York
  • Ohio

You will receive one energy bill after switching - all charges included - from your local utility company.

Energy Rate Plans

Type of Rate Contract Length Details Early Termination Fee
Fixed Rate 12, 18, or 24 months
  • Fixed rate for entire contract
$25 per month left on contract
Variable Rate No Contract
  • Energy rate changes monthly
None, but 30 day written notice is required

Electricity rates are measured and billed to you per kilowatt-hour, while natural gas is based off of therms or cubic feet.

Because CenStar Energy is not regulated by your state-level government, we recommend fixed rate plans for both natural gas and electricity. Variable plans are subject to fluctuation and can end up being more expensive than your local utility.
