Pennywise Power no longer serves US households

Its parent, US Retailers LLC, was acquired by NRG Energy in late 2018. In 2019 NRG retired the Pennywise brand during the Discount Power consolidation: Pennywise Power changed its public name to Discount Power, new enrollments stopped under the Pennywise label, and existing contracts continued under the legacy name until renewal, when customers were moved to Discount Power tariffs.
