Central Hudson historical values for electricity supply prices
Here we give historical data for the electric supply charge.
Electricity supply prices vary on a regular basis. They are the price of electricity on the market. All the other costs that appear on your bill will be operating costs or state surcharges: costs to purchase this electricity (Merchant Function Charge), costs to deliver the electricity at your home, state surcharges (System Benefits Charge and Renewable Portfolio Standard). These other costs will tend to be more stable.
The seasonal variation that you will see in the total cost of your electricity will mainly vary due to the market price of electricity: the Electricity Supply Price.
In order for you to calculate your electric usage, you can use historical values for cost of the electric supply. Central Hudson traditionnaly gives the updated price of the electricity supply every 2 months, since it is used to making the meter readings every 2 months as well.
