FTR Energy Services
Founded in 2012, FTR Energy offers 100% renewable electricity and green natural gas supply in four states. It is a member company of the Crius Energy family and has achieved a high rating from the Better Business Bureau.

Plans Available
We recommend fixed rate plans with FTR Energy. Electricity customers should opt for 24 month contracts, while natural gas contracts of 6 or 12 months are a better deal.

You will still receive just one bill from your local utility after switching to FTR Energy Services.
Renewable Energy Credits (RECs)
FTR Energy's electricity plans are supported with Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) purchased on your behalf. RECs support wind energy projects and generation elsewhere in the United States based on 100% of your consumption.
Wind Energy is praised as a renewable source because it leaves virtually no negative environmental impact, and does not rely on finite natural resources for generation, like traditional electricity does.
Natural gas with FTR Energy Services comes from domestic sources.
Rewards Programs
There are cash back incentives for customers on FTR Energy Services fixed rate plans. Members can earn 5% cash back every 6 months, after earning a minimum of $10. Rewards are calculated based on your monthly supply charges.
Customer Reviews
FTR Energy Services earned an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau for addressing customer issues well. Customers also appreciate financial rewards programs.
However some consumers have expressed frustration with variable rate plans, which may increase more than rates with their local utility.
