RG&E local offices around Rochester

By Sasha Updated 3 min read

Rochester Gas & Electric (RG&E) runs three walk-in offices across western New York: the Brooks Avenue customer-service centre in Rochester (ZIP 14619), plus operations stops in Canandaigua (Ontario County) and Spencerport (Monroe County). Account questions and in-person payments happen here; outages and gas leaks must be reported by phone, not at the counter.

Avangrid sibling. RG&E and NYSEG are both owned by Avangrid Inc. (an Iberdrola subsidiary). They share back-office systems but run separate territories and rate cases. If you live in NYSEG country (Binghamton, Ithaca, the Southern Tier), this RG&E page is the wrong one — use the NYSEG hub instead.
