ConEd publishes one main hotline, but at least four dedicated lines exist for specific tasks. Using them shaves real minutes off your call.
Two rules: (1) all emergencies (outage, gas leak, downed wire) go through the main 24/7 line regardless of the borough. (2) Bank-account payments and card payments have separate automated lines that bypass the queue entirely.
